Ingredients:

• 1 – unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
• 1 cup – quick-cooking rolled oats
• 3 – eggs
• 1/4 cup – Butter
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Cloves
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – Corn syrup

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add cinnamon, cloves and salt. Stir in corn syrup.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in rolled oats and pour entire mixture into the pie shell.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
