Ingredients:

• 2 bunches – Palak
• 250 g – Paneer (cut into small cubes)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 2 – Onions (cut into small pieces)
• 4-5 – Cashew nuts
• 1 tsp – Poppy Seeds
• 2-3 – Tomatoes ( cut into small pieces), 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tbsp – Dhania powder
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp – Sugar
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Cut and wash the palak.
  2. Cook the palak along with the 2 green chillies slit and the sugar.
  3. After the palak is well cooked, mash the palak along with the chillies.
  4. Grind the cut onions, cashews, and poppy seeds.
  5. Take a kadai and add the oil to it. Add cumin seeds, the ground masala and fry it till the raw smell of onion goes.
  6. Then add the cut tomatoes and let it cook for few mins.
  7. Then add all the powders – red chilli, dhania, jeera. Fry them.
  8. Then add the mashed palak. Add the desired amount of salt.
  9. Finally add the fresh paneer cubes and let it cook for 5 mins in low flame.
