Ingredients:
• 2 cups Rice (plain)
• 2 tbsps Coriander seeds
• 4 to 5 Red Chillies
• 1 bunch Spring onions (8-10 Spring onions, finely chopped along with the leaves)
• 1 tbsp salt or as per taste
• oil for frying
Method:
- Soak the rice along with red chilli and coriander seeds for 2-3 hours. Grind adding a little water.
- The batter should be of idli consistency and a little coarse.
- Mix the finely chopped spring onions well in the batter.
- Heat a tawa. Spread a little oil on it, then put about 3 tbsp of batter on the tawa and spread it like a dosa but not thin.
- It should be a little thick.
- Pour one tsp oil around the dosa, let it cook till golden brown and cool.
- Now turn and cook the other side too the same way.
- You will get about 8-10 chattis with this batter.
- Serve hot with thick curd.
