Ingredients:

• 500 gms – paneer, cut into fingers
• 1.5 tbsp – tandoori masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – freshly ground pepper
• 1/2-3/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 cup – raw green mango, cut into strips or Amchoor powder to taste
• 1 medium size onion, thinly sliced
• 3 green chillies, finely chopped
• 2&1/2 tsp – chaat masala
• 1/2 tbsp – chopped Ginger

Method:

  1. Make a thin paste of tandoori masala powder and vinegar.
  2. Marinate the paneer in this mixture for 20 mins.
  3. Grill the paneer cubes on an electric grill. Keep aside.
  4. For the chaat:
  5. Mix lemon juice with salt, red chilli powder and oil. Keep aside.
  6. In a bowl, mix onions, mango powder, green chillies, green coriander, chaat masala and the lemon juice. Mix well.
  7. Now add in the paneer cubes and mix well.
  8. Remove to a serving dish and serve immediately garnished with chopped ginger.
