
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – mutton, washed and cut into medium pieces
• For ground masala (roast the ingredients with a few drops of oil and grind into a fine paste):
• 2 tbsp – coconut, either desiccated or fresh
• 4 – Garlic
• 2 – tomatoes, medium
• 1/2 inch – Ginger piece
• Other ingredients:
• 2 – onions, cut length wise
• 3 to 4 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Haldi powder
• 2 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1.5 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• To taste – salt
• few – Coriander leaves
Method:
- Take a pressure cooker and heat the oil.
- When it is hot, add the cut onions and lightly fry till golden colour.
- Now add the ground masala paste and all the powders mentioned in the ingredients.
- Keep stirring, till the oil starts separating from the masala.
- Now add the mutton, and enough water, for the meat to cook.
- Keep the cooker, till it gives at least 8 to 9 whistles.
- Remove from fire and add coriander leaves for garnishing.
