
Ingredients:
• 150 g – gavar (cluster beans)
• 50 g – oil
• 20 g – green chillies, finely chopped
• 50 g – besan (gram flour)
• 25 g – coriander leaves, chopped
• 10 g – ajwain
• 10 g – garlic, chopped
• salt to taste
Method:
- Clean, string and cut each bean into 3 pieces.
- Steam till tender.
- Mix gram flour, salt and 5 gm green chillies.
- Knead with water to stiff dough.
- Make coin-sized, flat roundels.
- Heat oil in hot pan.
- Add garlic, green chillies and beans.
- Sprinkle ajwain and salt.
- Fry dhoklis for 5 minutes.
- Add water as required to form thick, saucy gravy.
- Serve hot, garnished with coriander.
