Ingredients:

• Long grain Rice – 1 cup
• Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup
• Salt to taste
• Oil for shallow frying.

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 4 hours.
  2. Grind rice, salt and coconut together to a very fine paste adding water when needed
  3. Make a thin batter by adding water.
  4. Keep it for an hour.
  5. Heat a tawa and pour a little oil and pour a ladle full of batter on the tawa. The batter being thin will spread on the tawa automatically.
  6. Cover the dosa for a minute and cook.
  7. Then flip it, cook and serve
