Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken
• 2 cups – Curd
• 4 – Onions
• 5 – Garlic Cloves
• 1/2 inch piece – Ginger
• 2 inch piece – Raw papaya
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 3 drops – red colour
• Ghee – 2 tbsp
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Clean the chicken.
  2. Grind onions, garlic, ginger, and papaya into a smooth paste.
  3. Mix it with curd, chilli powder and garam masala.
  4. Blend well, add red colour, salt, lime juice.
  5. Smear the chicken pieces with the mixture and let them marinate for 8-10 hours.
  6. Heat ghee in a pan and add the marinated chicken pieces.
  7. Fry for a few minutes and cover the pan and cook on low fire until chicken pieces are tender and dry.
  8. Serve.
