Method:

  1. Wash and cut lady’s fingers into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Chop onion and tomato.
  3. Make ginger-garlic paste and cumin seeds powder and keep other ingredients ready.
  4. Heat oil in a pan/kadai, splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger-garlic paste, besan flour and onion and fry them well.
  5. Now add tomato and mix well.
  6. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, salt and asafoetida.
  7. Finally add lady’s fingers and mix well.
  8. Fry for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with rice.
