
Ingredients:
• 1 cup ( 100 g ) -cashew nuts
• 1/2 cup – ( 50 g ) Sugar
• 1 tbsp – whisked Egg white
• 4 – Cardamoms ( seeds only )
• 2 drops – Lemon juice
• A pinch – salt
• 1/2 tsp – Butter
Method:
- Powder sugar with cardamom (seeds only) and keep aside.
- Cut the cashew nuts into very small pieces.
- Grease a baking tray with 1/2 tsp of butter.
- Preheat oven at 150 degree C or 300 degree F.
- In a bowl, mix cashew nut pieces, powdered sugar, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and whisked egg white.
- Drop the macaroon mixture by the spoonful, on the baking tray or you can make desired shape. Keep a distance of 3 cm between the macaroons.
- Bake at 300 degree F or 150 degree C for 15 – 17 minutes, or until there is a slight colour change.
- Remove from oven. Cool for 5 minutes before removing.
