
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – Wheat flour
• 1 – onion, big sized
• 1.5 tsp – sambar powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 sprig – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – salt
• Water as needed
• 1 tsp – Jeera or cumin (optional)
Method:
- Chop the onions finely. Add the chopped onions, turmeric, sambar powder, salt, curry leaves to the flour and mix well.
- Add water and make a smooth dough.
- Divide into six equal sized balls.
- Place a polythene film or plastic sheet over a platform and grease it with a few drops of oil.
- Flatten the dough ball with hands into a little bit thicker than roti.
- Heat a flat pan, drizzle with oil and toast the adai on both the sides over a medium flame till golden brown spot appear.
- Serve hot with raitha of your choice.
