
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 2-3 – Tomatoes (cut into small pieces)
• 5-6 – Red Chillies (to taste)
• 1 – Onion (chopped finely)
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped finely)
• 1 small piece- Ginger (this is to be grated or finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• Curry leaves
• salt
Method:
- Heat some oil in a kadai. Add red chillies and stir.
- Next add the coriander powder and continue to stir.
- Next add the grated coconut to it, followed by the sliced tomato.
- Continue to stir the mixture until it turns golden brown in colour.
- Keep the same aside to cool. Once it is cool, grind the same.
- Next heat some oil in a kadai.
- Add some mustard seeds.
- Once it begins to splutter, add the curry leaves followed by the finely chopped onion, green chillies and ginger.
- Fry the mixture for some time.
- Next add the ground paste to the same and boil for 10 mins.
- Serve hot with chapattis or rice.
