Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Maida
• 1/2 cup – refined oil
• 2 cup – Sugar
• 2 pinches – Cardamom powder
• 8 – Cashew nut
• 1 pinch – colour
• 2 cup – water
• Ghee – for flavour

Method:

  1. Blend maida with oil, add cashew nut & cook in a thick bottom vessel.
  2. Cook till the cashew nuts get golden colour.
  3. At the same time add sugar in water and boil well.
  4. Add this syrup to the maida mixture & mix well till it gets a halwa consistency.
  5. Finely add cardamom powder and ghee.
  6. Halwa is ready to serve.
