Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Wheat flour
• 1 cup – Spinach (chopped finely)
• 2 tbsp – Flax seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 cup – Yoghurt
• Salt to taste
• all – purpose flour for dusting.

Method:

  1. Grind the chopped spinach coarsely along with yogurt.
  2. Now combine the wheat flour, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, salt and whole flax seeds in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough with the spinach-yogurt mixture and keep aside for half an hour.
  3. Make 10-12 medium sized balls from the dough, dust with all-purpose flour and roll out circular or square shaped parathas.
  4. Now heat a pan and cook the parathas with some oil. Cook on both sides. Serve with a gravy.
