
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – potatoes, boiled and mashed.
• 2 slices – bread.
• 3 tsp – chopped coriander leaves.
• 2 – Green chilli chopped.
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder.
• 3 tsp – bread crumbs.
• 1/2 tsp – chopped ginger.
• Salt to taste.
• 1 – Egg beaten.
Method:
- Soak the bread in water, squeeze and crumble.
- Mix with the mashed potato and all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs and beaten eggs).
- Make small balls of the potato dough.
- Flatten and shape into patties.
- Dip each in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil on both sides till golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney.
