Ingredients:

• 1 cup – rava
• 2 – Onion
• 3 – Tomatoes
• 3 Cloves – Garlic | 3 – Green chillies
• 2 – Cardamom
• 2 – Cloves
• 1 small piece – Cinnamon
• Oil, to fry
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Coriander leaves – a few sprigs
• Curry leaves – a few sprigs
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Fry the rava in a pan with a little oil or ghee.
  2. Make a paste of garlic, green chillies, cardamom, clove, and cinnamon in mixie.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadai and splutter the mustard.
  4. Add the cut onion with a pinch of salt and saute in a low flame till it turns golden brown
  5. Add the tomatoes and saute for some time after increasing the flame
  6. Add turmeric powder and saute well
  7. Add the ground masala and saute well till the raw smell of the masala goes.
  8. Add 2.5 cups of water and boil it
  9. Add the rawa, mix it well, lower the flame and cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves, curry leaves and 1 tbsp ghee.
