Ingredients:

• 2 cups of Mango puree
• 1/2 cup castor Sugar or to taste
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 tsp Lemon rind
• 1 tsp Lemon juice
• a few Mango slices or Cherries
• pudina leaves – as needed

Method:

  1. Place sugar and water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Mix and stir in sugar syrup, lemon rind and lemon juice.
  3. Now, place the sorbet into an air-tight container and keep it in the freezer to set.
  4. Just before serving, transfer the sorbet to the blender and churn a little.
  5. Now scoop out the sorbet using an ice-cream scooper and serve immediately, garnished with mango slices and mint leaves.
