
Ingredients:
• 12 pieces – Mutton
• 1 cup – chopped Onions
• 2 tsps – Garam Masala powder
• 5 cups – Rice
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• Salt
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – cilantro, Mint
• 2 tbsp – sour Cream
Method:
- Marinate the mutton pieces with 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt, sour cream, and coriander powder for 1 hour.
- Fry half of the onions in a pan till they turn golden brown and keep them aside.
- Take some oil in a pan, add the remaining chopped onions, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste and add the marinated mutton.
- Let it cook for 10 -15 mins over a medium flame.
- Then add yogurt and crushed fried onions, and let it cook for another 10 mins.
- Add garam masala powder.
- Preparation of rice:
- For 5 cups of rice, pour 10 glasses of water.
- Add raw garam masala and salt, and cook for 4 whistles.
- Layer the mutton with the rice and cover the dish with a lid.
- Cook for another 15-20 mins on dum.
