Ingredients:

• 250 g – Paneer
• 2 tbsp – kasoori Methi
• 1 – onion, ground
• 1 floret – garlic, ground
• 2 – green chillies, chopped fine
• 1 cup – Tomato paste
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• Chopped Coriander leaves
• Small quantity of ginger, ground
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and fry (until it becomes light brown in colour).
  2. Soak the fried paneer in salted luke warm water for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Grind onion, garlic ginger and green chillies in mixie.
  4. Heat oil in heavy pan and add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Stir it.
  5. Now add onion, ginger, garlic paste into oil and stir until oil separates.
  6. Add tomato paste in it and stir it.
  7. Add salt, chilli powder in it and stir until oil separates.
  8. Add kasuri methi in the mixture and stir it for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Add small quantity of half and half milk.
  10. Add small quantity of water, cover it and boil it.
  11. Add fried paneer cubes in it.
  12. Cover it, turn off the gas and add garam masala.
  13. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
  14. Serve it hot with chapatti or naan.
