Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Chicken (cut into pieces and washed)
• 1 spoon – Curd
• Curry leaves/coriander leaves
• For masala:
• 2 – big Onions
• 10 -12 Cloves – Garlic
• Ginger – a big piece
• 1 cup – Coconut
• 2-3 – Cloves
• 2-3 – Cinnamon
• 20 – pepper
• 2 spoon – Red Chilli powder
• 2 spoon – coriander
• Turmeric powder
• Salt as per taste
Method:
- Fry all the above ingredients for masala till light golden brown.
- After it is cooled grind in mixer with water.
- First mix chicken with salt and turmeric and curd and keep for an hour.
- After an hour keep a pan on gas, put oil and fry the ground masala for 2 mins.
- Add the chicken to the masala and fry till it mixes well.
- Pour little water mix well and check the salt etc.
- Then allow it to boil for 2 mins.
- Pressure cook for 5-10 mins on low flame.
- Garnish with coriander or curry leaves
