Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Dry Green peas
• 10- Soya chunks
• 1- Onion (chopped)
• 1- Tomato (chopped)
• 2- Bay Leaves
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 2 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Salt
• Oil
• To Grind:
• 1 tsp – Peppercorns
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 1/4 cup – Grated Coconut pieces
• 1- Cinnamon stick
• 3- Cloves
• 2 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 4- Dry Red Chillies
• Ready made dosas- 5-6.
Method:
- Soak the dry green peas overnight.
- Cook in hot water with salt until half cooked.
- Then drain the excess water and keep aside.
- Now boil the soya chunks in salted hot water until they double their volume.
- Drain and squeeze out the excess of water.
- Meanwhile grind all the ingredients for grinding into a fine paste and keep aside.
- Now heat oil in a kadai, add the bay leaves and saute until brown. Then add the chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic paste and saute for 4-5 mins.
- Now add the half cooked green peas and the grounded paste to the kadai. Cover with a lid and simmer for a few minutes.
- Then add the cooked soya chunks and water to the kadai and cook for 4-5 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice or chapattis.
