Ingredients:

• 2 – vegetable marrows/chowchow
• 2 – Tomatoes (chopped)
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 2 – Onions (chopped)

Method:

  1. Peel and cut the vegetable marrows/chowchow into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute chopped onions till golden brown.
  3. Add tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder and salt and stir-fry for a few minutes till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
  4. Add the vegetable marrow/chowchow and mix well.
  5. Simmer on low heat till the vegetable is cooked.
