Ingredients:
• Bread – 1 lbs
• Mixed fruit jam – 200 g
• Milk – 1 litre
• Custard powder (vanilla) – 200 g
• Fruits and nuts (apples, cashews, bananas) – 1 bowl
• Sugar – 1/4 kg
• 1 – Lime
• Cream for topping – 250 g
Method:
- Prepare custard by boiling milk (reserve 1/2 cup), adding sugar and custard powder mixed with cold water. Boil till custard is ready. Cool.
- Trim the bread, apply jam on one side.
- In a bowl, take 1/2 cup of cold milk.
- Dip the bread in it and squeeze the excess milk by pressing in between your palms.
- Cut apple, bananas, cashew nuts in small bits, soak in lime and sugar.
- Add the fruit mix to bread and make balls. Arrange them in a shallow dish or in an individual cups.
- Pour the custard over the prepared snow balls evenly.
- Beat the cream with 2 tsp icing sugar and pour evenly on the middle of ball.
- Decorate with cherries or tutti frutti.
- Chill in the fridge for 1/2 hour.
