Ingredients:

• 2 cups of grated Coconut
• 1 cup of grated Jaggery
• Oil to deep fry
• 2 cups of Wheat flour
• Salt to taste
• Kishmish (optional) 10-12 pieces

Method:

  1. Make dough using wheat flour add salt to this.
  2. This should be like chapatti dough.
  3. Add grated coconut, jaggery and mix well.
  4. Heat this mixture till homogeneous.
  5. Add kishmish to it.
  6. Take a lump of dough and make puri out of it. Fill above mixture in it and give it karanji shape. Cut it with knife.
  7. Make similar karanjis of remaining dough.
  8. Deep-fry them.
