
Ingredients:
• 1 pound -frozen Spinach
• 1 cup- besan
• a pinch – Asafoetida powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 1 tsp – ajwain
• 1/4 cup – water
• 1 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1 tsp -raw Mango powder (amchur)
Method:
- Thaw spinach in microwave for 5 minutes.
- Mix with besan, salt, asafoetida powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and water (the paste should be like the one for vadas ).
- Make about 10 balls from the paste and put in microwavable dish. Heat for 5 minutes.
- Cool for about 5 minutes after taking out of microwave. In a pan heat oil and add ajwain to it.
- Put the balls in the oil and cook on slow fire for about 2 minutes. Garnish with amchoor powder and serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
