Ingredients:
• 1 cup – green Saunf (fennel seeds)
• 1 tsp jintan pills (silver or red)
• 2.5 tbsp ground Sugar
• 20 gm katha (catechu)
Method:
- Soak katha in a little water for 30 minutes
- Mix sugar and saunf together
- Mix katha paste well and pour through sieve on to the seeds
- Mix well.
- Sun-dry till the seeds have dried and coloured.
- This should take approximately 10-12 hours of bright sun.
- Once totally dry, mix in the jintan balls.
- Store in airtight jar.
