Ingredients:

• 1 Bunch of pudhina(mint).
• 2 Medium sized tomatoes.
• 3 Jalapeno peppers.
• Lemon sized Tamarind soaked in water and then take the pulp.
• 2 tsp of rasam powder.
• 2 tbsp toor dhal cooked.
• Salt to taste and little Turmeric powder.

Method:

  1. First fry tomato, green chillies and mint in little oil. Keep aside. Then cook the dal in little water and keep aside.
  2. Grind the fried mint, chillies and tomato with water or the tamarind pulp. After that add rasam powder, salt, turmeric in to it and boil it.
  3. Once it is boiled well add the dal with water and allow it to boil for sometime.
  4. Season it with mustard seeds and cumin seeds. This will be very tasty and also good for health.
