Ingredients:
• 3 cups – mushrooms, sliced
• 4 tbsp – Butter
• 1 cup – cooked Chicken pieces
• 1/4 cup – boiled Corn
• 1/4 tsp – minced Garlic
• 2 tbsp – plain four
• 1.5 cups – Milk
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 3/4 cup – grated cheese
• 1 cup – bread croutons
• 1tsp – Oregano
Method:
- Heat 2 tbsp butter.
- Add mushroom, chicken pieces and garlic.
- Saute till mushrooms are well done.
- Add corn and saute for another 2-3 mins.
- Remove from fire.
- In another pan, heat remaining butter.
- Add flour and stir continuously.
- After 2-3 mins, add milk and stir.
- Add salt and pepper powder.
- Cook till the white sauce thickens.
- Add 2 tbsp of sauce to mushroom mixture. Mix well.
- In a greased casserole, make a bed of bread croutons.
- Spread 1/2 of the mushroom mixture.
- Then make a layer of white sauce.
- Spread remaining mushroom mixture and top with white sauce.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese and the oregano.
- Bake at 350 degrees centigrade for 35-40 mins.
- Serve with toasted bread.
