Ingredients:

• 200 g – Paneer cubes
• 2 – Onion (chopped)
• 1 tbsp – white khuskhus/poppy seeds
• 2 – cardamom/elaichi
• 1 tbsp – Ginger (chopped)
• 3 – Green chilli
• 1/2 tsp – red chilly powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1and1/2 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 cup – Green peas (cooked)
• 3/4 cup – thick Coconut Milk
• 1/4 cup – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Salt
• Water

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a wok and add cardamom seeds and poppy seeds.
  2. Add ginger and then onion. Saute until the onion slices turn transparent.
  3. Add green chillies, red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and 2 cups of water.
  4. Allow to cool and grind this mixture to a fine paste.
  5. Put the mixture back to the wok and heat it along with coconut milk, cooked green peas, paneer cubes and salt on a low flame for about 10 mins.
  6. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from fire.
  7. If you want the dish to be more spicy, add some pepper.
