Ingredients:
• Rice, washed and drained – 1 cup
• Ghee – 2 tbsp
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Pepper corns- 1 tsp
• Cloves – 2
• Cinnamon – 1″
• Cardamom – 2
• Potato, diced small – 1
• Rock Salt – 2 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric- a pinch
• Water – 3 cups
• Coriander leaves – For garnishing
Method:
- Heat ghee, add jeera, peppercorns and whole spices.
- When moderately fried, add potatoes and rice and stir-fry. Add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Add water and cook in a low flame for 15-20 mins till the potatoes and rice are completely cooked.
- Serve hot, garnished with coriander leaves.
