Ingredients:
• 1 – lemon, big
• 1 cup – raw Rice
• 1 tsp – Turmeric
• Asafetida, a pinch
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
• Cashew nuts, a small quantity
• Mustard, a small quantity
• 4 – Green chillies
• 2 tsp – Bengal Gram
• 1 tsp – black gram
• Groundnuts, a small quantity
• Coriander leaves, a small quantity
• Curry leaves, a small quantity
Method:
- Keep raw rice in cooker.
- Meanwhile squeeze lemon in a small bowl and mix turmeric, asafoetida and required salt to it. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry mustard, Bengal gram, black gram, green chillies, groundnuts, cashew nuts and curry leaves.
- Once all these are fried, pour lemon juice and let the mixture boil for about 2 minutes.
- Then add this mixture to the boiled rice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
