Ingredients:

• 2 cups chapatti atta
• 2 cups gram flour (besan)
• 2 tsp. salt
• 3 green chillies, chopped
• 2 tsp. black pepper
• 1 tsp. amchur (mango powder) or to taste
• 2 tbsp. fresh coriander
• 2 onions, finely chopped
• 4 tbsp. Ghee
• Warm water for kneading
• Ghee for shallow frying

Method:

  1. Sift the chapatti atta, gram flour and salt in a bowl. Rub ghee into it.
  2. Add green chillies, salt, pepper, amchoor, fresh coriander and onions.
  3. Gradually add the water and knead into a stiff dough, cover and leave aside for 30 mins.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 balls.
  5. Roll out each ball a little thicker than chapatti.
  6. Heat a tawa/griddle and shallow fry with a little ghee.
  7. Serve hot.
