Ingredients:
• Basmati Rice – 2 cup
• Soya chunks – 1/2 cup
• Ghee – 1/2 cup
• Onion – 1 (sliced)
• Green chillies – 6-8 (sliced)
• Cloves, Cardamoms, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves – 2 (each)
• Fresh Coconut Milk – 3 cups.
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
• Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp. (finely chopped)
Method:
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 5 mins. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add the spices, after they splutter add onion and green chilli. Fry for 2 mins, then add ginger-garlic paste.
- Add the soya and coconut milk. Allow the milk to boil.
- Add washed rice.
- Finally, add coriander leaves and salt as per taste. Pressure cook for 6-7 mins. Now the soya ghee rice is ready, serve with butter chicken or gobi manchurian.
