Ingredients:

• 1 tin – condensed Milk
• 100 gms – Butter
• 200 gms – biscuits
• 100 gms – jelly (preferably red in colour)
• 1 tbsp – gelatine
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1/2 cup – Cream (optional)
• 2 tbsp – chopped nuts (optional)

Method:

  1. Crush the biscuits.
  2. Melt butter and mix it in biscuit crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the base of a rectangular tin.
  4. Freeze for 20 minutes.
  5. Dissolve gelatine in half cup of hot water.
  6. Pour in condensed milk and add lemon juice.
  7. Pour this over the biscuit layer and cool till the gelatine gets set.
  8. Dissolve jelly crystals in 450 ml of hot water.
  9. Cool it and pour it over the gelatine layer.
  10. Freeze till it gets well set. Cut into small pieces.
  11. Top it with whipped cream and / or chopped nuts and serve.
