Ingredients:
• 1 tin – condensed Milk
• 100 gms – Butter
• 200 gms – biscuits
• 100 gms – jelly (preferably red in colour)
• 1 tbsp – gelatine
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1/2 cup – Cream (optional)
• 2 tbsp – chopped nuts (optional)
Method:
- Crush the biscuits.
- Melt butter and mix it in biscuit crumbs.
- Press the mixture into the base of a rectangular tin.
- Freeze for 20 minutes.
- Dissolve gelatine in half cup of hot water.
- Pour in condensed milk and add lemon juice.
- Pour this over the biscuit layer and cool till the gelatine gets set.
- Dissolve jelly crystals in 450 ml of hot water.
- Cool it and pour it over the gelatine layer.
- Freeze till it gets well set. Cut into small pieces.
- Top it with whipped cream and / or chopped nuts and serve.
