Ingredients:
• 250 g- Peas
• 1 – Carrot
• 2 – Boiled Potatoes
• 1/2 cup – Cream
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 1 – Onion
• 1 can – 16 Oz Tomato sauce
• 1 cup – Corn starch or flour
• 4 cup- Vegetable Oil
• 2 – Green peppers
• 2 tsp – Ginger
• 1 tsp- Coriander
• 1/2 tsp – Baking soda for koftas (optional)
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- For koftas:
- Mash coarsely the green peas, boiled potatoes, carrot, chillies, ginger.
- Now in a bowl, mix the mashed vegetables, corn flour and 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
- Make small round koftas with this.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the koftas and keep aside.
- For the gravy:
- Grind the onion, ginger paste, coriander, green peppers in a mixer. Mix 1 can of tomato sauce to make a thick gravy.
- Heat oil in a small pan and add the whole black peppers and 2 – 3 cloves for the tadka.
- Pour, tomato paste in a heated pan with the tadka and add milk and cream and boil till the desired consistency is reached.
- Add the koftas to the gravy just before serving.
- Garnish with chopped coriander.
