
Ingredients:
• 750 g – diced lamb
• 3 – onions, finely chopped
• 150 g – oil
• 20 – Saffron strands
• 500 g – spinach, finely chopped
• 1 pinch – baking soda
• 2 – eggs, beaten
• 5 – Cloves
• 1/2 ” long – Cinnamon stick
• 1/2 tsp – green Cardamom powder
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 inch long – Ginger piece, finely chopped
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat the oil and fry the onions.
- Then add the meat and fry for 10 mins.
- Add water and cook till the meat is tender.
- Add saffron, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander powder, chilli powder and ginger.
- Cook for 5 mins.
- Heat oil in another pan.
- Add the spinach and the baking soda.
- Fry till it becomes tender.
- Add the beaten eggs and salt to taste.
- Cook till uniformly mixed.
- Add the cooked meat on the spinach and cook for another 5 mins.
- Garnish with sliced onion, green chilli and lemon.
- Serve hot.
