• 4 – raw mangoes
• 1- small bunch Mint leaves
• Salt
• Sugar


  1. Take 4 raw mangoes.
  2. Wash them and roast them on slow fire direct flames.
  3. Continue till all sides of the mango skin are blackened (charred) and the pulp is softened.
  4. Post cooling, de-skin and de seed the mangoes. Keep the pulp aside.
  5. Take a small bunch of mint (pudina) leaves, wash it well and separate the leaves from the stalk.
  6. Put the pulp and the mint leaves into a blender jar.
  7. Add 1/2 tsp of salt and sugar to taste. The sugar will depend on the sourness of the mangoes.
  8. Pour the mixture into a glass. You may add soda / cold water / crushed ice / a combination of the above.
