Ingredients:
• 1 cup – ponni Rice
• 1 cup – raw Rice
• 1 cup – tur dal
• 1 cup – Channa dal
• 3/4 cup – Urad Dal
• 6 – Red Chilli
• 1 – Onion
• a few Curry leaves
• 6 – Green chilli
• For chutney:
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 3 – Green chillies
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• salt to taste
Method:
- Soak the ingredients overnight and grind to a coarse batter.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida according our taste.
- Chop an onion finely, with a few curry leaves and add to the batter.
- Fry the dosa with gingelly oil.
- For chutney:
- Grind the ingredients to a coarse paste – just turn once in the mixer.
- Serve hot the ada dosai with the chutney (thuvayal).
