Ingredients:
• 1 cup – fresh shelled peas
• 1/2 cup – Paneer cubes
• 1/2 cup – roasted cashews
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 1 – Onion finely sliced
• 1 tbsp – ginger-garlic-cilantro paste
• 1/4 tsp – Clove powder
• 1/4 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1/4 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp -cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 cup – water
Method:
- Grind the roasted cashews to a fine powder.
- Heat oil in a saucepan. Add and saute finely chopped onions till translucent.
- Add the ginger-garlic-cilantro paste and cook for few seconds.
- Add the tomatoes and cook till they soften.
- Stir in cashew powder, the other masala powders, salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
- Let these cook for some time.
- Finally add the green peas and paneer cubes, and about a cup of water.
- Mix well and simmer covered for about 5 to 10 mins until the sauce thickens.
- Serve with rice, parathas or chapattis.
