Ingredients:

• 3 – Apple, peeled and grated
• 200 g – refined flour/maida
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 100 g – Sugar
• A pinch of salt
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together to get a smooth thick batter without lumps.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan till smoky.
  3. Drop a tbsp of the batter at a time into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
  4. Serve plain or with ice cream.
