Ingredients:

• 3 – medium-sized sweet apples, grated with the skin
• 4 cups – whole Milk
• Few strands of Saffron dissolved in 1/4 cup of Milk
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• A pinch of Cinnamon powder
• 1/4 cups – mix nuts (pista, cashews and almonds)
• 1/4 cup – Sugar + 2 tsp – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – Corn flour dissolved in 1 cup of milk.
• 1/2 cup – Raisins

Method:

  1. Boil milk. Keep stirring till it reduces to half its quantity.
  2. Cook grated apples, sugar and cardamom powder in a cup of water till it becomes tender.
  3. Now, stir the apple mixture with the thickened milk in low flame.
  4. Add raisins and saffron strands and keep stirring.
  5. Pour in the corn flour-milk mix along with cinnamon and keep stirring on low flame till it becomes a thick paste.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  7. Garnish with chopped nut and sliced apples and serve.
