Ingredients:

• 150 g (1 cup) – gram flour
• 8 to 10 – Almonds
• 3 – chopped dry Apricots
• 2 tsp – desiccated Coconut
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 2 cup – water
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 3 tbsp – clarified Butter (ghee) or unsalted Butter

Method:

  1. Boil water with sugar and cardamom powder for 5 minutes to make a solution and keep aside.
  2. Sieve gram flour and keep aside.
  3. Heat ghee or butter in a pan (on low flame) and add almonds and chopped apricots, fry for 1 minute and drain on paper towel.
  4. Now add gram flour to that ghee or butter and roast it on low flame with continuous stirring for 5-10 minutes till it becomes golden in colour.
  5. Add sugar solution in roasted gram flour and let it boil for 2 minutes till water mixes with gram flour.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fried almonds and apricots. Sprinkle desiccated coconut over the top.
  7. Serve hot with milk.
