Ingredients:

• Besan- 2 tbsp
• Potatoes – 1/2 kg
• onions(medium sized)- 4
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1/2 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves – 5 to 6
• Urad Dal – 1/2 tbsp
• Channa dal – 1/2 tbsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
• Green chillies – 2
• cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
• coriander powder – 1 tsp
• salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Cut onions into thin slices. Pressure cook potatoes and onions with 3 whistles. Peel the potatoes.
  2. Put oil in a sauce pan.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, seeds, dal, turmeric and green chillies.
  4. Now add cooked onions and potatoes and fry for a while.
  5. In another bowl, take besan and make a paste with water.
  6. Add this paste to the slightly fried mixture. Add salt.
  7. Cook till everything gets blended well.
  8. Finally garnish with coriander.
  9. Serve hot with pooris.
