Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Bhetki Fillets
• 100 g – Cheese, grated
• 200 ml – oil
• 1 – whole Lime
• For marination:
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 tsp – Green chilli
• Coriander paste (4 Green chillies ground with 1/2 bunch of Coriander leaves)
• For batter:
• 100 g – Corn flour
• 2 – eggs
• 1/4 cup – Milk

Method:

  1. Cut the fillets into rectangular pieces (medium size). Wash the fillets and pat it dry
  2. Mix all the ingredients of marination in a bowl
  3. Rub the fish with the marination
  4. Squeeze the lime juice in the marinated fillets and keep it for 4-5 hrs.
  5. Heat the oil for frying in non stick kadai.
  6. For batter, mix all the ingredients
  7. Now take out one fillet, rub over the grated cheese and dip it in the egg cornflour batter
  8. Deep fry it oil till golden brown.
  9. Repeat for the fillets
  10. Serve it hot.
