Ingredients:

• 1 small bag – frozen black eyed peas
• 1 – Onion
• a bunch – Coriander leaves
• 2 tbsps – Coconut powder or fresh Coconut
• few – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• whole garam masalas

Method:

  1. Grind onion, coriander leaves, coconut, ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies together.
  2. Heat oil and add the whole garam masalas (few bay leaves, 3-4 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick).
  3. Now add the ground paste and allow it to boil for a few minutes. You may add water if it is too thick.
  4. Add the frozen black eyed peas to it.
  5. Cook till it is done.
