Ingredients:

• 1/2 – Lauki
• 1 liter – Milk
• 1/4 cup – condensed Milk
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• A few strands – Saffron
• A pinch – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Peel the skin of the bottle gourd, remove seeds, grate them and squeeze out the water.
  2. In a kadai add the ghee and saute bottle gourd for 3-5 mins in a low flame and keep aside.
  3. Boil the milk and reduce it to 3/4 th of the quantity.
  4. Add condensed milk, stir add the grated bottle gourd boil in milk for 10 mins in a low flame.
  5. Switch off the flame and add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir well.
  6. Garnish with few saffron strands.
  7. Serve chilled
