Ingredients:

• 5 slices – Bread
• 1/2 cup – Maida
• 3-4 tsp – Corn flour
• 2 tsp – Ginger, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – Garlic, finely chopped
• 1 bunch – Spring onions, finely chopped
• 2 tsp – Soy sauce
• A pinch – Ajinomoto
• Chilli powder
• Salt
• Oil for frying
• Water

Method:

  1. Trim the bread, cut into small squares and keep them aside.
  2. Make a batter out of the maida, corn flour and a little water.
  3. The consistency of the batter should be neither thin nor thick.
  4. Add a little ginger and garlic to this batter.
  5. Now add salt and chilli powder to the batter and mix it up well.
  6. Heat oil in a kadai, dip the bread pieces in the batter, fry them in oil and keep them aside.
  7. Take a little oil in a pan, put the remaining ginger and garlic and fry.
  8. Now add spring onions and the fried bread pieces.
  9. Sprinkle a little ajinomoto, add the soya sauce and spread well.
  10. Serve hot.
