
Ingredients:
• 12-15 – button Mushrooms (quartered)
• 1 – big yellow Onion (sliced)
• 2 – medium Tomatoes (pureed)
• 1/2 inch – Ginger
• 3-4 Cloves – Garlic
• 11/4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2.5 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsp – white Vinegar
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
- Make a paste of ginger-garlic together.
- Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seeds. Let crackle.
- Add onions. Saute till onions turn medium brown in colour.
- Add ginger-garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder. Saute for half a minute.
- Add tomato puree. Saute for 2-3 mins.
- Now put in the mushrooms. Mix well. Add half cup of water and salt. Cover with a lid for 10-12 mins. Stir in between.
- Once the mushrooms are done, add vinegar and garam masala. Let it cook for 2 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
