Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Cabbage
• 1.5 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 3 – Green chillies
• 4 sprigs – coriander
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 4 – Curry leaves
• a pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• a pinch – Turmeric
• Salt as per taste.

Method:

  1. Crush coconut, green chillies, coriander, cumin and asafoetida without adding water.
  2. Heat oil in pan; temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and turmeric and add the masala mix and saute for a minute.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage, salt and mix and keep on a low flame, covered, until done.
  4. Remove from stove and add lemon juice.
  5. Serve.
