Ingredients:
• 8 slices – bread
• oil for frying
• For cheese mixture:
• 250 g – cheese (grated)
• 45 g – breadcrumbs
• salt, pepper and chilli powder to taste
• 3 – Egg yolks
• 1.5 pint – Milk
Method:
- Mix the cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, chilli powder and pepper in a bowl. Blend well.
- Cut the slices of bread in triangles.
- Dip these triangles in the cheese mixture and immediately shallow fry till golden brown on both sides.
- Serve immediately with chutney.
